OLED Lighting (experiment) - Keita Shimizu Design

OLED Lighting (experiment)

(KANEKA, 2016)

A device that creates light resembling sunlight coming through shoji panels, by taking advantage of OLED’s nature of being thin and easy on the eyes. It stands by itself with its four square wooden frames connected to each other like a folding screen. The aim of this proposal design is to create a Japanese space using light in places that have no Japanese essence.
